About the event
Let's explore ANCIENT TIMES by Working with Wool!
There is a world of work in the textile arts and so many ways to transform fibers into fabric. We will examine archaeological evidence as we sample Heritage Breed Wools using the simplest of tools. We will prepare wool with hackles and combs, then spin it into yarn on a supported spindle. This workshop is recommended for beginners as well as experienced spinners.
